T219 Orchard Station

Located adjacently to Singapore’s highly-recognizable premier mall, ION Orchard, T219 Orchard Station will be an interchange train station connecting both Thomson-East Coast Line and North-South Line. It took 2 years of excavation works to complete a 28 m depth below existing ground level of the underground train station. Both PERI UP Flex and DUO systems are used for the construction works for this project.

PERI UP Flex are used to cast the internal shear walls of the train station.

DUO are used for all five entrances of the train station that is located just above ground.
Still in work-in-progress, DUO is seen used for the train station’s wall.
